| "A picture is
worth a thousand words." Enjoy these pictures which we feel portray
our Irish connections and experiences. Ireland is a wonderful country
with a rich and varied culture and landscape, but in the end, it is
about the Irish people, warm, charming, and so full of chat. |
| |
 |
| There are many
reasons people come to the Irish Centre. For some it is the unique
selections of Irish jewelry, books on Irish history, sweaters made
by Irish knitters, Celtic music, Waterford crystal, Belleek china
or a host of other items made by Irish craftsmen. |
| |
 |
| For others, it
is the special events that offer customers and the community the opportunity
to speak to the artisans that create these beautiful products and
to leave with a piece of art signed by these unique individuals. |
| |
| The Irish Centre
has become the place to go when anyone is looking to purchase or experience
all that is authentically Irish. Everything in the store has a story
and each member of the well-informed and deeply loyal staff will take
the time to share that particular legend or tradition. |

 |
| At the Irish
Centre's 20th Anniversary celebration, John Corrigan, Minister for
The Irish Trade Board, commented that Ireland, because of its recent
economic success had been dubbed the "Celtic Tiger". He followed that
observation with the quip that Mary Reilly should be called the "Celtic
Tigress" for her tireless efforts on behalf of Ireland's small crafters
and designers. |

 |
| "It is very exciting
to be with these talented artists and to hear them speak so enthusiastically
about their products. I really feel that the Irish are a mystical
people that weave their legends and lore into their work." |
 |
| Continuing, Mary
notes, "I believe that our community involvement and our committment
to the best Irish products have been the backbone of our achievements.
The Irish Centre is a successful retail store and we thank our customers
for their loyal support." |
